All of us can relate to having a bad hair day. Your hair just plain refuses to listen to you and settle itself down the way it is supposed to (or at least go back to how it was yesterday, instead of misbehaving).
I have mostly noticed my bad hair days occuring around 2 days after a wash. On the day of the wash, your hair is all happy happy joy joy! the next day, well single happy and a single grudging joy. The day after - No Happy No joy! This is when you need to do some quick work, or you are bang smack in the middle of a bad hair day. I have 2 ways of handling this depending on the time I have:
- By an unforeseen twist of fate, I wake up early and have enough time to bring my hair back to the ‘Happy Happy Joy Joy’ state i.e I wash my hair.
- Well, the usual happens, I wake up late, rush through. Depending on the condition of your hair - frizzy, fine, whatever, you usually have some sort of spritz out there that will exactly help you solve that condition. For example, my hair is fine, so on a bad hair day, it looks plastered down. I use L’Oreal’s tecni.art - volume lift , which I apply on to my hair (usually with my hands) and use the dryer on my hair for a few minutes and am ready to go.
So, how do you handle your bad hair day?

I totally agree. Bad hair days can kinda spoil the mood of the day as well. My hair grew way too long in the last one year and totally unmanageable. So i chopped it off right till my neck. Otherwise, day 2 i use Pantene frizz control serum and it works good for me. Neutrogena hair mask once a week also makes your hair more manageable after a couple of days

What is medically good for hair???
* Soak your hair with nallennai (Good Oil aka Gingelly oil) for 15-30 min, and wash it with Shikakai powder for good hair health.. and nice and shining ‘BLACK’ hair..
* You can try ‘Dikkamalli Thailam’ available in Siddha medi-stores.. Even Menthol can’t compete with its cooling power.. (best used when you have a cold - its a cure for nasal problems… and… er… you can escape its smell

The best way to get out of this situation, is a quick hairwash. Else on a bad hair day, I pull it all up and tuck it in a neat chignon or ponytail.
