“If you shut your door to all errors truth will be shut out.”
-Rabindranath Tagore
I seem to have (thankfully) left my door open to all my errors (not a negligible number indeed), and the truth is in. I have been trying all this while to address these errors without understanding the truth of the equation I share with these errors and my environment, and (since I’m blogging about it - obviously) my blog in particular.

This post is fittingly titled as the prequel to this post was my comeback after a break of two months and this post is my comeback after nearly 8 months(WHEW!). A lot of times, what we term as unproductivity may not be simply being lazy(yes, I am trying to justify myself :)), but the (seemingly) sheer inability of your mind to take anymore. What with the past few months being hectic with work load getting higher and heavier and moving houses, I just felt I couldn’t do anything anymore other than sleeping whenever I got the time(which is what I did).
My husband then helped me stop, slow down and made me see what I could do with the time I thought I had lost. He helped me discover that I can make time if I wanted to for things I love. It most definitely comes at some price, but I think its totally worth it. I think the two mantras I am holding on to now are:
1. Don’t sweat over the small stuff.
2. Make yourself happy everyday, by finding time to do what you love.
Once you stop sweating over the small stuff, you will find enough time to do what you love and that in turn will truly make you happy, which is a sure fire way to battle a different kind of unproductivity.
I really liked Jonathan Mead’s article on productivity@zenhabits and I think it would be a good read after this. You can check it out here.
